We are all tired of reading articles on ‘top burger restaurants’ or ‘best third-wave coffee shops’ in the city. That’s why we were so happy to come across Jerry’s, a great hot dog bar with unique toppings.
Want to see how a hot dog with tomato sauce, bacon and kidney beans tastes like? Then try ‘Ranchero’. Those looking for a bolder taste must have ‘Kolombiya’, a combination of cashew, pineapple, peppers and hot sauce. Wurst, served on focaccia with thyme, already has its regulars. Take Belgian fries covered with cashews as a side dish. You can also have a Spanish omelette with potatoes and caramelized onions or a light avocado and a goat cheese sandwich if you are not craving a hot dog.
We want to emphasize that Jerry’s is pet-friendly. They use 10% of its proceeds from the sale of coffee to buy food for stray animals. Feel free to bring your pet along and say hello to Julia from us, whose graffiti appears on the wall.
