Kantin at its new location

You may notice a change in Nişantaşı nowadays. Kantin, a neighborhood classic and a milestone in Istanbul’s culinary scene, has moved from Akkavak Sokak to Milli Reasürans Passage after 16 years. As Kantin’s journey continues at its new location, Şemsa Denizsel and her team keep impressing us with their delicious local and seasonal food.

The new location has brought some changes. Open for lunch and dinner, Kantin now serves its classical dishes such as çıtır (baked flatbreads), schnitzel and Şemsa’s omelet all day long. Daily changing dishes are still chalked up on the blackboard, waiting to be paired with a glass of wine as Kantin now also serves alcohol.

Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Reasürans while having real food prepared with the finest ingredients or shop from Kantin Dükkan, which is located at the other side of the passage. Here you can take away some of the same daily changing dishes as well as desserts, sauces and Kantin’s famous sourdough bread.
