With spring, life starts to bloom in Istanbul. The days start to get longer, and suddenly people are out in the streets having after-dinner drinks and nibbles. But it’s also the cultural scene that changes gear and one such example is the annual Le Printemps des Artistes (PDA), organized by St Pulchérie School, a charity event that introduces new artists to urbanites while raising money. For its 9th year, the PDA is once again bringing together francophones, expats and culturally-aware Istanbulites for an exhibition that showcases the works of 10 local and international artists. Thirty percent of all proceeds from the sales of the artworks will be donated to the Lape Hospital and the Tarlabaşı Community Center.
