Celebrating independent movies for more than a decade, this year !f Istanbul will be held from 12-22 February. From the very well-known and Oscar nominated premiers such as Birdman and Big Eyes to Norwegian director Bent Hamer’s 1001 Grams and Iran’s first-ever vampire movie A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night by Ana Lily Amirpour, this year’s !f Istanbul’s film festival is getting us excited already.
Besides new productions, you will also be able to catch some hidden treasures by Derek Jarman, The Doors, Pina Bausch and Patti Smith in a new segment called Saints, Poets and the Insane.
