Reşitpaşa is not famous for its coffee shops or hip boutiques like Karaköy or Galata are, for instance. So when you walk into Amanda Bravo and discover that one of the coolest new restaurants is hidden in this neighborhood, you can’t help but wonder in awe. The owners of Amanda Bravo, Melis Korkud and İnanç Baykar have been operating their successful catering business from this space for years. They turned their kitchen and office into a cozy and chic restaurant last fall and brought a breath of fresh air to this part of town. Their food is innovative without being too fancy; their menu changes frequently and their Mosantimetre designed plates are to die for. May it be octopus with a side of grilled lettuce, lamb shank with pumpkin puree, or one of their signature desserts, espresso soufflé, every dish at Amanda Bravo is well worth a taste.
