We all want to travel the world and buy beautiful objects that we find along the way. But not all of us are lucky enough to spend extended periods of time traveling the far corners of the world. Yet, there are those who do it and then turn it into a business that benefits all.
Primitif Arts & Crafts is such a place in Reşitpaşa, owned by traveler Gökçen Adıgüzel whose inclination for simple designs and exotic cultures has been brought together under the roof of her unique store. What you’ll find inside are hand-made, artisanal arts and crafts, found by Adıgüzel on her travels to Morocco, Africa and other parts of the world. Just to give you an idea, here are a few things that you can find there: naturally dyed bread baskets from Morocco, colorful sculptures from Cameroon made by local artists using clay and beads, local fabrics from various parts of Africa, straw lighting, ethnic pillows, traditional and hand-made Moroccan rugs.
Curious enough? We think Primitif is certainly reason enough to head to Reşitpaşa.
