So, remember when the former fashion editor and trend reporter Yaprak Aras teamed up with Alican Tezer to found Souq, a monthly pop-up bazaar that became an instant favorite of ours? (We had told you about it last June when it became a weekly event.)
Guess what? Last month, they made Karaköy their permanent home, and opened up Souq Dükkan in their usual spot! Those of you who went to Souq when it was a bazaar already know what it’s like: a treasure trove filled with original creations by local designers and creatives, such as Yuka, NYKS, 3rd Culture and Homemade Aromaterapi. It’s more than a shopping experience though – it’s a place where inspiration awaits your curious mind at every corner.
Now that Souq has a permanent shop, you won’t have to wait for the weekend to come to immerse yourself in art, books, clothes, and music that get your creative juices flowing. Make sure to keep track of their Facebook page because they still hold thematic days like Winter Souq that took place at the end of December.
