After the eventful (to say the least) year we had in 2016, it’s time to get back to our normal lives and look ahead.
Yes, January is often dedicated to reviewing the past year and making plans for the upcoming one.
We know you’ll all be making resolutions for 2017 so we thought we’d inspire you with some of our own:
- Love the work that you do or find work that you love
- Be more disciplined
- Eat well, even if that means solely cutting out one guilty pleasure
- Sing a song out loud every day
- Be attentive to the way you look
- Make your home cozier
- Read 5 pages a day
- Find music that uplifts you
- Try to understand people better and don’t take everything so personally
- If you feel lonely, call people who love you
- Practice gratitude
- Dream big, dream often
- Spend gladly and save gladly
- Have company but don’t waste time
- Dance more often
- If you have plants, make sure they live
- Let your heart win
- Love mama
- Love papa
- Love yourself
- Love everybody (or at least try)
- Be kind – start with yourself
- Get out of your comfort zone (i.e. go to a place you’ve never been and get to know some folks there).
