When it comes to cultural events in Istanbul, there is no doubt that the European side offers more than the Asian side. In recent years, new arts & culture centers have been opening on the Asian side and we’re gladly supporting these inspiring projects. One of them is Moda Sahnesi, where various branches of art meet under the same roof.
Moda Sahnesi was founded by twelve friends who work in the film and theatre industries. They transformed Moda Sineması, a forgotten movie theatre, into an arts & culture center with three halls. You can attend a concert, watch a play or a dance show at the Grand Hall, or see an independent film at their movie theatre. For workshops and seminars, you can visit Stüdyo Sahne which acts as an experimental stage as well.
