They say what you do the first day of New Year will reflect what you do all year. Is it true? Of course not, just remember last year! Once more we will make plans to have the best night, but what about its aftermath? Let’s be realistic: a long, cold January awaits us after a night of ‘excess’ followed by a nasty headache.
Congratulations if you were not hospitalized on New Year’s Eve, now let the celebration continue. If you are ready to party on January 2, attend Barış Manço’s birthday celebration hosted by Kabus Kerim at Babylon Bomonti.

Bant Mag. organizes Demonation festival for the sixth time on January 8-9-10 at Arkaoda, Babylon and Kargart. Presenting a selection from the indie music scene, Demonation is the perfect choice if discovering new bands is among your New Year’s resolutions.

Roxy’s DJ booth will host Stavroz on January 8. The same night; Sebastian Mullaert, who won recognition with his Minilogue alias, and Ulf Eriksson will perform together live at Indigo.

On January 9, Sofar’s attention-grabber Nilipek and our raki companion Can Kazaz will perform together at Salon IKSV.

The middle of January is when we get used to writing 2016 on things and truly leave 2015 behind. Mark it as Viennese producer Peter Kruder (from the famous downtempo duo Kruder & Dorfmeister) will be at Babylon Bomonti’s “Midnight Sessions” to turn the venue into a huge nightclub.

On January 28, Oscar and the Wolf will be at Babylon with their dark, magical tunes. Dance the night away at Indigo on January 29 with Terranova, an electronic dance music duo by Fetisch and ME based between Paris and Berlin.

Keep dancing on January 30. You can first hear Com Truise at Salon and then Wankelmut at Babylon Bomonti.
