Some of us have had it with the rising healthy eating trend that, on the one hand, is great but also kind of annoying when the gap between normal food and healthy food seem to widen by the day. We tend to think that as long as food is prepared with high-quality ingredients (preferably organic) and the venue offers options for most dietary preferences, we’re good.
One tiny space in Etiler, Piccolo Cafe, has succeeded in creating a down-to-earth space that offers some healthy and some unhealthy foods made with mostly organic and all-natural ingredients without going overboard.
If you’re a vegetarian, go for the pancake; if you’re a sugar-free, carb-free vegetarian, go for the classic menemen. If you eat meat, and even pork, go for prosciutto di parma eggs benedict. And this is just for breakfast. Lunch and dinner include home-made pasta and pizza, mains that range from salmon burger and organic grilled chicken to meatballs and Panini. No menu is complete nowadays without a quinoa salad, and yes, you’ll find one here as well.
